May 2010 Meeting

Hello, everyone

WOW summer is here and on the prowl. We have had some nasty rain over the last couple of weeks. Thats keeping the ground soft, but also keeping the water table high. This can prove problems when you get down to that level. The water starts pouring in and everything turns nasty. Then your dirt pile starts running everywhere making an even bigger mess.

About 15 people attended the May bottle club meeting, Ron VanZant chaired the short meeting and gave a great presentation on early automobiles, three wheeled cars, $295.00 cars, fancy, plain and funny looking cars. Ron started collecting as a young boy.

The bottle club picnic will be on Saturday August the 21st at Deming Park starting at 3 or 4 P.M. and we eat at 5 P.M.

Martin the newsletter guy was in from Indy bringing a few Terre Haute medicines in he found.

Ron Glascock talked about the Terre Haute and lndy clubs hosting the National Show in 2014 also he showed a nice colored greenish yellow mason jar he found.

Martin and I will give the presentation next month on Terre Haute medicines.
